DORSET BLIND ASSOCIATION – 5th Annual Virtual Row Challenge
On Friday 7th April 2017, we will welcome approximately 10 corporate teams of up to 6 competing ‘virtual rowers’ to row a combined 10,000m on a rowing machine in Bournemouth Square for the Dorset Blind Association Virtual Row. Members of the public will also be invited to attempt to beat the time of other participants in a 250 meter race – the fastest times for each will win a prize.
DATES AND TIMES:
Friday 7th April 2017
9:30am – 6:00pm
LOCATION
Bournemouth Town Centre – The Square
Virtual Rowers will use two rowing machines prominently placed outdoors in The Square, so this will be a great opportunity for brand exposure. We will have a marquee and Registration Desk and areas to display marketing material including promotional items, and option to distribute free gifts in our 200 goody bags.
ATTENDEES:
We are aiming for 60 Virtual Rowers in a corporate team of 6 targeted from previous participants, local businesses and sports groups. Public recruited from the crowd on the day.
TARGET DEMOGRAPHICS:
Our primary target demographic is professional 20-55 year olds who are competitive; people who enjoy team-building, physical exercise and who are community minded. Our secondary target is competitive rowers and sports groups.
This is a last minute sponsorship opportunity available until the end of play on the 5th April.
Please note the location of the event and the date is this Friday.
